In Blind Bargains Qast 21, Dave Williams demonstrated a prototype of the Canute electronic Braille book reader from Bristol Braille technology. The Canute is an eight-line, 32-cell open-source Braille display intended primarily for reading content. In this interview, J.J. speaks with Ed Rogers and Dave Williams about the progress of development on the Canute. Bristol Braille Technology hopes to release the Braille display at a cost of around $700 U.S.
