After having free access to playlists on the desktop version of Spotify, they've finally decided to let mobile users of their app also listen and create playlists or stream albums for free. There is a catch of course. Playlists can only be played in shuffle mode and there will be ads. Spotify will also include songs from other artists at their choosing while you're listening, although you can skip up to six times an hour just like you can when using their radio feature.
This is very exciting for those of us who use VOiceOver or Talkback since the desktop application is not that accessible. I'm very happy that I'll get to finally pick an artist to listen to or playlist and hear the music I want to hear rather than be frustrated by the randomness of radio.
