GW Micro has forged a partnership with Microsoft which will offer users of Microsoft Office 2010, 2013, and Office 365 a free copy of Window-Eyes. The version of Window-Eyes, which is available now for download, in over 15 languages, includes all of the functionality of the regular edition though some of the voices are not included. The ad-free experience for GW Connect is also not a part of this edition. In a related note, GW Micro is suspending SMA sales for both current and new users, so we are unsure of how current users will get updates to the next version if they do not have a Software Maintenance Agreement. Check the link on this post for more info or to download a copy, and stay tuned to Blind Bargains for more on this story as it develops. Here's a press release from GW Micro and another one from the Microsoft Office Blog.
