Google Updates Text-to-Speech App with New Voices

Google has released a major update to its text-to-speech app for Android which now includes several new higher quality voices in various languages. The new U.S. female voice is approximately 250MB compared with about 7MB for the standard voice, and you can now switch between them on the fly. According to some preliminary reports, many pronunciation bugs seem to also be fixed in this release. The update is a free download from Google Play. Android Police provides more details and a video comparing the old and new voices.
