The free, and widely used, screen reader for Windows, NVDA has it's own conference. It has, in fact, had 3 others, but the upcoming agenda has more sessions and social opportunities than any of the NVDA conferences held prior to this one.
NVDA Con started with 2 1 day events in 2014, expanded to a 2 day event for its first conference last year, and has doubled in size again. For the first event of 2016, the conference will go on for 4 days. The first dose of NVDA Con 2016 will be held April 22 and 23. You can get a second shot in the arm of NVDA Con 2016 April 29 and 30. Because this conference is for a global audience, all dates and times are listed in the agenda as Coordinated Universal time. This means that you will need to figure out how this applies to your local time zone. The link above will take you to a page that lists what that time difference is based on your device's time settings.
The First weekend of NVDA Con 2016 will consist of a few open forums for users and also presentations from developers of Dictation Bridge, Mozilla, and from those who have developed add-ons for NVDA. The second weekend of NVDA Con will feature some presentations aimed at newer users of NVDA, a presentation on math, one showcasing braille features, and a keynote to be delivered by Michael Curran and James Teh of Nv-Access on April 30. These are just a few of the topics which will be covered, please follow the source link to view the entire agenda.
One of the nice things about NVDA Con is that you don't have to worry about travel plans, expenses, or any of the things that can make a conference inconvenient or prohibitive to attend. This conference is being hosted on a TeamTalk server. The source link listed provides instructions on setting up TeamTalk and the details about which rooms will host specific events.

NVDACon International 2016 Users and Developers Conference 10th Anniversary edition is perhaps the biggest informal online gathering of knowledgeable and newbie users and developers. I would strongly encourage to check the schedule and agenda of the conference on NVDACon homepage and participate in whichever they find most informative and most attractive, all do to me. Sincerely looking forward to meet many of you in NVDACon International 2016, whose opener forum commences in just minutes.

I'll be able to attend, but not until tomorrow. I'll be looking in though. I'd not have my job if not for NVDA, since nothing else will read some of the software I work with on a daily basis.
