A monumental moment of pop culture will arrive in theaters on April 26th. 11 years in the making, and spanning more than 20 movies, Marvel will cross a milestone as it wraps up the 4th phase in their lucrative cinematic universe. And the best part is that almost all of it is audio described. We say almost because 2008 s The Incredible Hulk does not offer an audio description track at the time of this writing. However, the rest of the comic tales are described, and we have your guide to catch up on all of them in their official Marvel chronological timeline.
The list below contains links to the MCU, Marvel Cinematic Universe, movies streaming on iTunes and Netflix. If you take this route, minus seeing Captain Marvel in the theater, it will cost around $64 to rent each of the films plus a Netflix subscription. Buying them, instead of renting them, is a bit more expensive as the older films are around $14.95 and the newer titles near $20. Those who want to own them may want to investigate the Movies Anywhere service and link their iTunes account, along with Amazon or Google Play, as the MCU movies go on sale there regularly. VUDU Also runs tremendous sales on MCU movies, however, the service is a screen reader s nightmare on almost every platform imaginable and it may not be worth the effort to save a few bucks versus a headache and lost time figuring out their user interface.
Additionally, you can do this a little cheaper if you have access to secondary audio tracks from your cable or TV provider as some of these movies are available with description from TNT or TBS. Due to the nature of TV scheduling, we omitted linking to them here. Besides if you rent them you can avoid all those commercials!
Remember, the list below is not in the order that the movies were released in the theater. Marvel has their own timeline of events for the MCU. Minus a few quirks, looking at you Far From Home , this is the order that Marvel suggests you watch the films before you go see Avengers: End Game .
