Looks like a shake-up is brewing when it comes to cell phone rate plans. According to the Consumerist and several other blogs, Verizon tomorrow will become the first major U.S. carrier to offer an unlimited voice plan at a reasonable price, that being $99 per month. Sprint will soon do the same, though it's limited to certain cities, for now. For slightly more, the unlimitedness (is that a real word?) can be extended to text messages and data usage. Look for other companies to come out with similar offers in the coming months.
