Two major developments have created exciting times for users of GPS software with one product releasing a new version and another on the way. First, Wayfinder Access has been upgraded to version 2.5. This free update adds better navigational support at alower speeds, a virtual mode for browsing nearby points of interest, expanded point of interest information, better indication of GPS status, and many bug fixes. We've linked to the download page on this post. Also, it appears that version 5 of Sendero's GPS product for the BrailleNote is on the horizon. We'll link to more on this in another post.
