Humanware Releases Trekker 3.1 with Improved Accuracy

Amidst rumors of its discontinuance, Humanware has posted a free update for the Trekker GPS system. Version 3.1, perhaps the last update to the venerable portable navigational aid, is now available from their website and is free for users of version 3.0. It includes several improvements to improve accuracy, the announcement of exit numbers for vehicular routes, broadened search capabilities, and an easier rerouting function among other changes. It also supports several newer GPS receivers including the Holux M-1000C, iBlue 737 A+, iBlue MobileMate 886, and the Royaltek RBT-2100 (Revision 2).
