Cisco Academy for the Visually Impaired Announces Summer Courses, Taking Registrations


Cisco Academy for the Vision impaired is now accepting aplications for
classes in Late July. They plan to offer three classes for new students.
The first is IT Essentials 1: Building Maintaining and troubleshooting personal computers. This
class helps prepare students to take the Comptia A-Plus certification exam.
In addition, they are offering Discovery 1: a practical introduction to home and small office networking. This class
along with Discovery2 helps prepare people for the CCENT Certification exam.
Finally, they are offering a new class, Exploration 1: A more in depth look at networking. This class moves at a faster pace
and goes into more detail than Discovery1. This class prepares you for the CCENT
certification exam.
Unfortunately, a lack of funding has meant the prices have gone up, though scholarships are still available and these classes are still priced well below similar, potentially inaccessible ofEach course is $500, however scholarships are available that reduce the cost suggnificantly
if you are paying for your own courses. Payment plans are also available.
