Awesome. I've been playing with it for a bit and some nasty bugs have been fixed. In particular, the edit field problem where certain text areas wouldn't appear to Talks on some web sites seems to have been fixed. I've played a bit with the OVI Maps support and, from my initial tests, it seems to work rather well. I've definitely had better luck this time around than when I tried Mobile Speak's implementation. Of course, given Nokia's recent announcements, I've no idea how long the OVI suite of products is going to last, nor Symbian itself for that matter. Still, at least we can use it while we've got it and, while Maps might not be Sendero in terms of detail, it seems quite workable and I didn't have to pay a dime extra for it. Hard to beat that. :) Its hybrid approach to map data is interesting, where by it does use the cloud to gather data but it retains the received data for later use rather than being constantly reliant on a data connection.
