Trade In Options For Your Old iPhone

If you're considering upgrading to a new iPhone this year, and you're planning to sell you're old one, you may want to look at trade in options. Some of the most popular options include: Gazelle, Amazon, Nextworth, and USell. It's important to note that the amount of money you will get for your trade is greater now then it will be after Apple announces the new iPhone.

Gazelle announced this week that if customers offer their trade in before the Apple event then they can lock in the current prices. For example, a 16 gig iPhone 5 would be worth $330 and a 16 gig iPhone 4S would be worth $185. Customers will have until Oct. 15th to send in their old device. Visit the Gazelle website for more information.

Amazon also offers good trade in values for your older iPhones. An unlocked iPhone 5 can get you as much as $350 and as much as $300 for a locked AT&T iPhone 4S. Visit the Amazon Trade In page to learn more.

Nextworth is very similar to Gazelle, but you have to provide your own box. Shipping is still free. The prices they are offering are not listed on their website, but it's easy to find out how much you would get by answering a few simple questions on their website. To learn more, visit the Nextworth website.

USell is more like Craigslist or EBay because you are putting your device up for sale and choosing a buyer. Knowing how much you'll get is going to depend on how much someone wants to pay you rather then the company deciding to give you a certain amount. If you're not sure you're ready to trade-in right now, you may want to use this option. To learn more, visit the USell website.
