Just a month after Android 4.3 was released on Google's 2nd generation Nexus 7, the name of the next version of Android was announced, Kit Kat. Original rumors of the OS being called key lime pie have been tossed out the window along with the next version number, which actually will be 4.4. As you might expect, a contest will soon start on Kit Kat candy bars where you can win a free Nexus device or Google Play store credit from specially-marked packages. Android 4.3 was widely viewed as a maintenance release while the new upcoming version may have bigger changes in the works. We'll post more as we learn more. Via Android Police
