Freedom Scientific has announced a new product in it's line of Ruby video magnifier series. The Ruby 7 HD, has a 7 inch screen, which is 2 inches larger than the other Ruby products. The older models of this series of video magnifiers allowed the user to magnify text up to 14x, while the new product, thanks to the larger screen, allows for magnification of up to 24X. Freedom Scientific indicated that the Ruby 7 HD will be available at the end of April, but no pricing information was listed at the time of posting.
