It looks like Freedom Scientific is intending to enter the already crowded GPS software market with a major upgrade to its StreetTalk GPS software. Titled StreetTalk VIP, the new software will work exclusively on the Pac Mate Omni and is powered by the Sendero GPS engine. The expected release is later this summer for a price of $1,495. Upgrades from StreetTalk 1.0 are available for $699.
