One of the first things I did when I received my first real talking phone was to add Google, 466453, as a contact in my address book. There's a long list of things that you can request from Google to receive a nearly instantaneous response such as weather, flight information, movie listings, or driving directions. The service is free except for any text message charges you may incur. Check this link for Google's complete list.
