Freedom Scientific is planning to start talking about Jaws version 12 at the summer conferences, and it all starts this Saturday with an announcement concerning a new braille feature which is being touted as a "significant new feature for Windows Screen Reading." According to the message, the feature has never before been seen on a PC. Feel free to speculate in the comments.

Anyone gonna enlighten us on what this supposed new feature is? I've been trying to imagine what it could be, but I confess I'm stumped. Braille output isn't exactly a feature you can really jazz up.

I suspect they're preparing to announce still lower costs for Braille displays. I also suspect that changes will occur in the SMA pricing. This will involve increasing the number of SMA releases above two.
